Pro-100 / 160 / 360 Troubleshooting

The Pro-100, 160, and 360 all share a common control board, so the troubleshooting process is very similar, this flowchart shows how to go about it….

Common issues with these controllers are:

1. Fuse tracks damaged by a short circuit in the control wiring. These are on the control board, are easily repairable, and their location is described in the manual.
2. R111 damaged by a short circuit in the control wiring. The location of R111 is shown at the bottom of the fault codes page.
3. No ignition switch fitted when using radio control.
4. Trying to save changes to Profile 1 [can’t be done – switch to a different profile first].
5. Trying to save incorrect “pot learn” values. These must have Max Rev as lowest value(*), Zero as middle value, and Max Fwd as highest value (* unless in single ended mode in which case Max Rev = Max Fwd).

7. Power wiring issues
   1. No power to the motor in one direction only – can be caused by a short circuit from B- to one of the motor terminals.

Note: The Pro-100 does not have a display included as standard.

1. 1. It has an ignition light that indicates it is powered up and working.
