Ordering and Delivery

On-line Ordering

You may check out of the website using our secure shopping basket. Payment can be made by debit/credit card either via Worldpay, or via Paypal (if you have a Paypal account).

An automatic email is sent on receipt of order. A dispatch or confirmation email will be sent by the office within 1-2 days of order.

Dispatch

Orders are normally dispatched within 1-2 days of order. There is a lead time of 3-5 days on some of the larger controllers, and you will be notified by email if this is the case.

Delivery

The choice of delivery depends on the shipping country and order value.

UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail (under £100 value) or by courier (DPD Local)

International orders may be sent by international mail or courier depending on shipping option selected.

If your order is urgent, and you wish to pay for faster delivery, then please contact us to check availability and delivery options.

EU Customers / Brexit Update

The new trading arrangements started on 1st January 2021.

Please be assured that you will still be able to order from us, and we will do all we can to make the process as smooth as possible.

We no longer charge EU tax/VAT on our website sales. The import VAT will instead be payable when the order is imported into the EU.

  • Import VAT at around 20% is payable, plus a customs administration fee (about €8 – €15). This payment will be requested by the postal service / courier before parcel delivery.
  • Import VAT & the customs administration fee is payable on ALL order, even low value orders.
  • We will send orders over £100 by courier, either DPD Local or Fedex. You will be sent an email or text requesting payment of the customs fee before delivery, and this needs to be paid promptly or the parcel will be returned to us.
  • Our controllers and accessories are manufactured in the UK, so there should be no customs duty to pay on these items.

EU business customers must provide their EORI number, this is mandatory on the commercial invoice required by customs. You can check whether your EORI number is valid by clicking this link.

Trade Accounts

If you wish to set up a credit account with us, please ask. This facility is normally only available if you have ordered from us regularly.

If you prefer not to order on-line, you may order using one of the following methods:

Email

You can email orders to the office at esales@4qd.co.uk. A payment link will be emailed to you to allow you to pay online by debit/credit card. For security reasons, please do not email any card details to us. 

Phone

You can phone us with your order on +44 (0)1487 450520. Office hours are 9.00 am – 5.30 pm (UK time), Monday – Friday.

 Via a Distributor

International customers may wish to order from their local distributor – please click here for our list of current distributors.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you wish to cancel an order, and it has not been dispatched, then your authorised payment will not be taken.

If you cancel an order after dispatch, then your payment will be refunded on receipt of the returned goods. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel an order up to 14 days from the date of receipt of the order. Please refer to the full Terms & Conditions for details.

Missing Orders

Please allow 14 working days for orders to arrive in the UK and 30 for international orders. After that time you will be offered the choice of a full refund or replacement parcel.

VAT

UK orders include VAT, and a VAT invoice will be emailed to you when the order is dispatched.

Import Taxes and Duties

Customers outside the UK may be charged import taxes and duties by their local customs office. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any such charges.
