Warranty Repairs

All our controllers have a warranty against defective manufacturing for 12 months from the date of shipment. The warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by incorrect installation.

If you need to return a controller to us please download and complete this returns form, this will give us the information we need, and it has our address on it.

The controller should be well packed together with any related accessories and sent to the address on the form.

We aim to process warranty returns within 1 week of receipt.

Around 50% of the controllers that are returned to us prove not to be faulty, please do check the troubleshooting page first before returning a controller to us. If this does turn out to be the case we reserve the right to charge return postage.

Customs warning for non-EU countries

To avoid import duty being charged by UK customs, it is very important to mark the parcel and returns form with “Faulty equipment of EEC manufacture, for repair. No commercial value”

You may need to fill in a customs form: declare the goods truthfully e.g. Motor speed controller. If you have to declare a value put a nominal value [£10]  as the goods are faulty.

If you don’t do this then the UK customs may add on a heavy charge  which we will have to pay and charge back to you.

Some countries may also have customs ‘temporary export’ forms, filling one of these in should speed the incoming customs clearance of the equipment when it is returned to you.
