Radio Control systems

To judge by the lack of negative feedback, 4QD's radio control interfaces work fine with almost any radio control system.

In the early days there were some systems which had special considerations. Many of these are high-spec devices which have a pulse frequency higher than the maximum frequency the DMR and SMR would accept as standard, so the frequency range was accordingly increased.

This page can never be exhaustive and we will add to it (slowly) as information reaches us! So please use the contact button to inform us of systems that work.

Here we will list radio control systems that are known to work, and also those where there are known problems. However as we don't usually get proper closure on 'problem' systems, it's likely that many of the reported problems are down to users rather than the radio controls!

The following controllers work 'straight out of the tin'.

The following radio control systems have special considerations.

Sanwa Super Exzes
The pulse repetition rate of this is around 75Hz - well above the usual 50Hz. This was once outside the acceptance range of the standard interfaces but the range was altered to suit. Now 40-75hZ.
Futaba 3VC 40 MHz
Is reported not to work by one user. No details yet (7th July 2004)
Futaba FP-R138DP
Was reported not to work by one user.
