Email Orders

It helps us greatly to process your order if you can lay it out so that our automatic system can process it with minimum human intervention, in the same was as does our shopping cart.

Even if the item you require is not listed in our price list you can still use our shopping cart and you may find this easier than composing a normal email. There is a page telling how to use the shopping cart for an unlisted item.

Email Orders

This page describes the ideal email order layout - though we can cope with other layout!

The email order is really in two halves:

  1. the items you are ordering
  2. the Address and payment details.

Ordered Items

Each different item you order should be on one line, e.g.
"NCC-70-24",,,2
"DCI-111",,,1

Each line has the Order code (in parentheses), followed by 3 commas, then the quantity of that item required. Use as many separate lines as you need.

Address and payment details

Should be in plain text as you wish them to appear on your address label. The standard layout is 15 lines

  1. Your name
  2. Address line 1
  3. Address line 2
  4. Address line 3
  5. Address line 4
  6. Zip/Post code
  7. Country
  8. Your telephone number
  9. blank line 1
  10. blank line 2
  11. Your email address (for any reply)
  12. blank line 1
  13. blank line 2
  14. Credit card number
  15. State date and expiry date and issue number (if appropriate).

So this section might look like this:

If any line is not used, leave it blank but for automatic processing the correect lumber of lines is required in the block, with the correct information in the appropriate line!

That's all there is to it!

Just send the email to Esales at 4qd.co.uk (address is human readable, to avoid spammer's attention!
