4QD had supplied comment on how much better the vehicles perform with our controllers.
The VTX supplied to Armortek has fixed gain (to suit the DMR) and acceleration and deceleration ramps are fixed (about 500mS each). The configuration pin headers have also been removed as appropriate. There is also no fuse in the battery +ve lead: this is in Armortek's own wiring. The standard VTX has a fuse in the Battery +ve.
Instruction manuals for standard VTX and DMR are available from our catalogues and instructions section. However we can only give wiring information on the standard items: if you want information or help with Armortek's own wiring then you must ask them!
You will need two off VTX-40-24-BX and one DMR-203. Please use the notes section (when ordering) to specify 'For Armortek' as the standard VTX-40-24-BX has (internally adjustable) gain, acceleration and deceleration ramps which you will need to adjust. The Armortek kit has these 'adjustments' fixed.
